The Forest's Edge, Ltd Celebrates Christmas at Cottonwood's Holiday Gala

There's so much happening this month at The Forest's Edge, Ltd. as well as at Cottonwood Center for the Arts. In the studio, we've been visiting our roots... Since the studio has had its proverbial "fingers" in a lot of different mediums, this month we decided that we were going to take another look at each of the media.

First, we looked at Heavenly Host Angels. Each angel that was created this year is a one-of-a-kind angel. While many say, I can go to one of the big box stores and get a larger angel for less money, my answer is... Yes, you can and hundreds of people will have the exact same angel. If you want one to add to your angel collection that no one else will have, then head down to Cottonwood on Tejon where The Forest's Edge, Ltd. is selling this year's collection. Only a few select angels are left. When these are gone, there will be no more until Christmas next year.

Second, we re-visited the Gossamer Silk Scarves. These scarves have a tied-dyed look, but the effect is achieved in a single dye bath. While we are thrilled with the discovery of these scarves again, The Forest's Edge, Ltd., has plans to take the scarves to a new level with the introduction of techniques new to the studio.

Tomorrow, Cottonwood Center for the Arts will be having its Holiday Extravaganza and the Country Farm and Art show. It begins at 5:00p and goes to 8:00p. The Farm and Art show will run on Saturday, too. Plan to come down and purchase your holiday gifts.
